This classic champagne cocktail was served in New York as early as 1934.  We make these for our extra special events.  They’re perfect for Hen’s Parties, and they’re so easy to make.  The sugar dissolves slowly and offsets the bitters.

You’ll need;

Villa Maria S Series Brut

Sugar cubes

Angostura Bitters

Brandy – Cognac if you feel like splashing out

Place a sugar cube at the bottom of a chilled champagne glass.  Put 3 drops of bitters on the sugar cube and let it soak in.

Add quarter of a shot (15mls) of Brandy, then fill the glass with the Villa Maria S Series Brut.
