What Is the Mystery Box Challenge?
The Mystery Box Challenge is Social Cooking’s most unpredictable team building event. Teams are handed a box of surprise fresh ingredients — plus one or two unusual extras — and must plan, cook, and plate an impressive dish before a professional chef judges the results. It’s fast-paced, fully interactive, and built for teams who thrive under a bit of pressure.
How Does the Mystery Box Challenge Work?
Every team receives identical mystery ingredients, along with a shared pantry of extras to build out their dish. What you do with them is entirely up to your team.
The event runs in four stages:
30 minutes — Arrive, enjoy a drink and nibbles, and prepare for the challenge ahead
1 hour — Plan, cook, and plate your dish, plus a tasting portion for the judging chef
45 minutes — Sit down and enjoy the meal your team just created
45 minutes — Chef-prepared dessert is served while winners are announced
