Dumplings are ubiquitous in many cuisines, but can be challenging to prepare. This how-to session with Chef Amanda Frecker will guide you through filling and folding process, while you create dumplings from three different cultures.
- Chinese pork potstickers
- Polish pierogi
- Indian Gulab Jamun (dessert dumplings)
Class is 2.5 hours long. We are fully licensed and drinks or barista made coffee will be available throughout (alcohol from 11am, not included in price above). Class is held at our Parnell premises in Auckland - 79a St George’s Bay Road.
Chef Amanda has owned a number of successful restaurants in Auckland, most recently Buck’s Bistro at Buckland’s Beach. She now runs SOS Frecker, providing catering for private and corporate events, and is back as a regular chef for Social Cooking team events and classes.
Please note: Number of attendees are set at checkout. Minimum class size is 8 attendees. If attendees are fewer than this, the class will be postponed and credit vouchers provided.
