PEAR & BLUE CHEESE PARCELS

  • 1 sheet Edmonds flaky puff pastry
  • 1 small pear, peeled
  • 50 grams Bouton D’or blue vein cheese, crumbled 3 tbsp sliced almonds
  • Egg wash

The Social Cooking Way

Preheat oven to 200°C, fan cooking. Finely dice pear. Using a 7cm cutter cut 6 discs from the pastry. Mix pear with the crumbled cheese and divide between half the pastry circles. Brush the remaining discs with egg wash. Place the discs egg side down on top of the filling. Seal edges and crimp with a floured fork.

Place parcels on a baking sheet and brush with egg wash. Sprinkle with sliced almonds. Bake for approximately 10-15 minutes or until puffed and golden.
