Gooey Brownie Recipe

Chocolate Brownie – The Social Cooking Way

Our Chefs compete to make the best brownie.  This is the 2015 winner.

Serves 10 generous pieces

400 grams of Dark Chocolate
500 grams Butter
Melt Dark Chocolate & Butter together

6 Eggs
720 grams of Castor Sugar
Mix together

160 grams of Cocoa
130 grams of Flour
2 tsp Baking Powder
Mix together

Combine melted chocolate & butter with the dry ingredients
Fold in the egg & sugar mix

Pour into a large oblong roasting dish, lined with baking paper.

Bake at 180 degrees for 50 – 60 mins.
Remove from oven, place pan on a cake tray, cover brownie & leave to cool – for about 2 hours, before cutting. Preferably leave overnight before cutting.

Brownie will be good for upto 5-6 days.
