Cuban Mojitos by admin February 28, 2017 in No Comments 1 Classic mojitos are a refreshing cocktail to serve in summer. Our method of shaking them is popular with groups because they’re great fun to do and they taste delicious. Makes 1 cocktail – You’ll need a shaker and a highball glass. 1 cup of ice 1 lime 1 shot of Bacardi or similar white rum 1-2 teaspoons castor sugar 3-4 fresh mint leaves 1?2 C soda water 1. Pour 1 cup of ice into a shaker. 2. Soften a lime by squeezing it with your hands, this will get the most juice out. Cut your lime in half and reserve a slice for your garnish 3. Squeeze both halves of your lime into the shaker. Throw one of your squeezed halves into the shaker as well. 4. Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of castor sugar, depending how sweet you like your cocktails. 5. Pour in 1 shot of Bacardi. Tap shaker lid on tight, and shake until the shaker feels cold in your hands. 6. Take off lid, and pour ice and all from the shaker into a high-ball glass. 7. Bruise mint leaves with your hands, and add them to your glass. Muddle them in gently, you can use a straw to muddle. 8. Top up your glass with soda water and garnish it with your lime slice and a sprig of mint. Enjoy. admin Recent Posts ALL HANDS ON DECK SERIES February 21, 2019 BACK TO WORK OFFER – EA/PA & EVENT PLANNERS ONLY February 21, 2019 ENORMOUS CHARITY CHALLENGE February 13, 2019
