LINDSAY COOK

LINDSAY COOK
by

My mom put a wooden spoon in my hand when I was 5 years old and said follow your dream child.  It’s been a long journey but a very rewarding one.

Leaving behind my own children’s cooking school in South Africa teaching not only children to cook and bake but life skills for the disabled and chefs in the corporate world how to prepare healthy meals for themselves and company employees, as well as doing wedding cakes and desserts. I came to New Zealand with my husband and twin boys 8 years ago. It was written in the stars that I landed the position of chef at Social Cooking, on the corner of Cook and Nelson streets in Auckland, because in the words of 2 9 years old “mummy what’s your surname” my reply is “Cook”… all gels and I am loving it.
