Its time to bid farewell to warm and sunny summer as Autumn’s just around the corner. Change in season means change in food choices thus Social Cooking has come up with new menu. We are back with some of our classic recipes and  some recipes to remind of last bright sunny days of summer. Our classes are on Friday and Saturday nights so you can wrap up your busy week learning a new recipe, cooking with your friend or a partner and having a great time.

TERIYAKI CHICKEN WITH GRILLED COURGETTE PUREE AND HERBED SOBA NOODLES

In Japan, you can’t buy a jar of teriyaki sauce at the supermarket, because it is always made from scratch.  Home made of course, always tastes much better, and you know what’s in it.  In this class we’ll make a rich sticky teriyaki sauce to marinate our Waitoa free range chicken.

To give the dish a modern edge we’ll make an Asian grilled courgette puree, and serve it with traditional herbed soba noodles.

For those time poor cooks who want to look good at their next dinner party Tasty Tapas is the class for you! Learn how to prepare and cook amazing stylish Tapas & Sauces like the Spanish. You’ll be a Tapas ninja before you know it and you’ll have a great night out too.

PAD THAI & BANANA FRITTERS

Taste Thailand. We’ll show you how to make delicious Thai dish. This little number is a fusion of exotic Asian flavors and textures with easily sourced ingredients. It will be followed by another classic Thai recipe – Banana Fritters.

Paris By Moonlight – French Chicken

And, its back again! One of Social Cooking’s favorites and loved by many this rich and creamy French Chicken dish is back to our menu . You’ll learn how to cook Bacon wrapped Chicken to perfection. Served with a tricky little number, a Kumara Galette and creamy white wine sauce you’ll surely impress your loved ones with this dish.
